This part isn’t an affiliate section — none of these are sold on Amazon, so there’s nothing to buy here and nothing we earn from it. We’re including it because our mission is transparency first, and that means sharing what we found whether or not it makes us money.
IDFA LAC certification requires a manufacturer to test and confirm at least 10 billion CFU/g (colony-forming units per gram) of live cultures at the time of manufacture. It’s a real, independently verified standard — but worth keeping in perspective: freezing itself tends to send live cultures dormant regardless of the count at manufacture, so the seal mostly confirms what a product started with, not necessarily what survives in your cup. That’s likely part of why several well-known brands below never bothered pursuing it. A cert is still a good, honest signal to look for and a fair thing for a brand to be proud of — it’s just not the single deciding factor people sometimes assume it is. Two different things are true about frozen yogurt brands, so we’re keeping them separate below rather than blurring them into one list.
YoCream (Dannon)
Yogurtland
Honey Hill Farms
Stonyfield Farm
Häagen-Dazs
Blue Bunny
Hood
Ben & Jerry’s (yogurt)
Hiland Dairy
Yoplait
